A far from complete overview of several families. It contains large portions of the following families: "de Does" (a.k.a. Dedoes in the United States), "van 't Hoff", "Ouborg", "de Hoogh", "Bentley", "van der Vliet", "van den Hoek".
There is another family tree of "de Does" here. These have their origin in Zeeland and (as yet) are not connected to the "de Does" from the Leiden / Zuid-Holland region.
Note about dates and abbreviations:
Dates are in Day-Month-Year format.
ABT = About; this date could be off by one or several years. BEF = Before; events took place before this date or year. AFT = After; events took place after this date or year. 1789 = treat a single year as ABT with a margin of 12 months.
Civil administration didn't take place in the Netherlands until 1811. Before this time dates come from church and other archives and are less accurate and complete.
