Stamboom De Does, Zeeland, Netherlands

This family tree contains the names of the "de Does" families from the province of Zeeland in the Netherlands. No link has (yet) been found between these "de Does" family members and those in the larger "de Does, van 't Hoff" family tree. It is very well possible that there is no link. A lot of the information is incomplete at this time. Also note that a lot of records were lost during World War 2, either by accident or intent. If a link does exist it was probably before 1650.

BEF = Before; events took place before this date or year.
AFT = After; events took place after this date or year.
1789 = treat a single year as ABT with a margin of 12 months.

Civil administration didn't take place in the Netherlands until 1811. Before this time dates come from church and other archives and are less accurate and complete.

Arnoldus Leonardus Christiaan de Does (1881). Emigrated to the USA in 1908. Married to Anna Maria Sophia van Poeteren.(de Does/van 't Hoff family tree)
